The Artist:
I'm a lifelong artist that has more recently shifted towards observational art (such as 'plein air' and 'urban sketching') as a way to stay grounded in the ever fleeting present.
I also cycle through an eclectic assortment of mediums to capture various aspects of my subjects and in pursuit of creative joy.
The Author:
I've been a part of a variety of writing groups over the years, mostly fiction, prose, and poetry.
I came across solarpunk several years ago and was intrigued by it's use of aesthetics and story to help imagine a better future. I've since started leaning into that philosophy.
I'm interested in art as a way to grow hope, resilience, and joy. That is something that I'm working on more recently with it comes to my writing projects.
I've got some projects in the works so you can also keep an eye out for that in the coming years.
