Bird skull whittled from an avocado pit.

Another pendant I made from an avocado pit. This one was my first actually.

The dark red coloring is mostly an oxidation reaction of the more superficial layers of the avocado pit.

It also became darker after I applied some oil to help preserve it. Though i can't remember what kind... almond oil maybe?
